Aaron Rodgers Opens Up About His Shailene Woodley Engagement And Reveals He Can't Wait To Have Kids!

Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley took the world by surprise when they confirmed they were engaged! That being said, now the man is opening up more about what they share, revealing that he is looking forward to their future together and more!

The Green Bay Packers quarterback had a chat with Zenith Watches CEO Julien Tornare on Instagram Live the other day and that is when he let people in more when it comes to his private relationship with his actress fiancee.

‘I’m recently engaged, so [I’ve] been enjoying that part of my life. Obviously that is the best thing that has happened to me in the last year,’ he raved.

The sportsman went on to also talk about the next thing he’s really looking forward to and that is becoming a dad!

He mentioned that his ‘next great challenge will be being a father.’

Rodgers then added that he is ‘in the age group where a lot of my friends from high school and college are fathers and have families of their own now.

He did mention, however, that he is not in a hurry to add to the family, saying that while it may not be in the ‘immediate future,’ it is, without a doubt ‘something I look forward to. It’s gonna be a really fun challenge. I have done a pretty good job at taking care of myself for 37 years, and I look forward to taking care of another life at some point. I think it is going to be so fun. I have dreamt about what that would be like and I am really excited about that chapter, whenever that comes.’

At this point, while he did not say this himself, it sounds like he’s totally ready for babies but is waiting on Shailene to feel the same way since it’s, first and foremost, her choice!
