Abby Lee Miller is a true survivor. After her scary battle with cancer, she is starting to walk once again!

While on The Doctors earlier today, the Dance Moms star was shown taking her first steps publicly, ever since her health problems started.

As Dr. Travis Stor grabbed her walker, Abby said: ‘Everybody, put your hands together and pray. This is so scary, you have no idea.’

The audience made sure to cheer her on and Miller started to walk, slowly putting one foot in front of the other.

At some point during her attempt she also managed to lift her hands off the walker.

The star’s oncologist Dr. Lawrence Piro, shared that Miller underwent knee replacement surgery only three weeks ago.

The point of the procedure was so that Abby would no longer have issues standing, bearing weight and finally, walking.

‘It would just buckle and go down,’ Miller said of before the surgery.

In the meantime, she’s also been working hard to rehabilitate the bad knee, no less than four times per day!

It’s been more than a year since Miller was seen walking by the public, before this The Doctors episode, of course.

As fans remember, her nightmare started in April 2018.

At the time, after serving 8 months in prison, she was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma and needed emergency spinal surgery.

In June, she underwent a second procedure.

One insider shared with E! News later that summer that there was a chance the celeb would no longer be able to walk again.

‘Her prognosis is bleak, but she is vowing to beat this and not only walk, but dance again,’ they shared with the news outlet.
