Actress Bryce Dallas Howard Earns Degree From NYU After First Enrolling In 1999

If you’ve been following the news at all, you’d know that it’s not entirely uncommon for celebrities and entertainers to go back to school to either get a new education altogether or finish up a past degree.

Actress Bryce Dallas Howard is just another star who recently finished her degree from New York University, after first enrolling there in 1999. Page Six picked up on an Instagram post from the actress earlier this week in which she shared her happiness at reaching the milestone.

In an IG post you can see below, the Rocketman actress, 39, stated she was “overcome with joy” to share that she graduated from the prestigious university. She first enrolled there in 1999 but had to leave on account of pursuing a career in acting.

Bryce wrote, “To the class of 2020, WE MADE IT 🎉🎓!”

As it was noted above, this wouldn’t be the first time an entertainer got a University degree over the last few months. Nick Cannon, as well, took to his Twitter account to share the happy news that he graduated from Howard University.

During his virtual graduation speech, Cannon shared a pro-education quote from Nelson Mandela, whom the actor said was his inspiration to go back to school. Additionally, the Real Housewives of New York City star, Alex McCord, recently obtained her Masters of Professional Psychology.

On her social media account, Alex shared her excitement and joy over getting her degree at the University. It was during the first seasons of Real Housewives of New York City between 2008 and 2011 that she started taking classes at New York University.

Of course, all of this good news comes at a time when people are finding it challenging to be productive, mostly on account of the coronavirus pandemic.

While many are choosing to spend their time watching Netflix series, the more ambitious among us read, attend virtual classes, and try to get the ball rolling for when the economy gets back to where it was before the global shutdown.
