As you may know, while she was getting ready to have a comeback, Amanda Bynes got into trouble with the law but it sounds like she is off the hook now. The actress was apparently sued by Creative Care Treatment Center for not paying for treatment she received earlier this year.
E! News previously obtained the court papers in which the institution claims that Bynes ‘was a client at our residential treatment center. Bynes was at our facility for 2 days receiving treatment.’
The monthly rate is of $37,000 and the company decided to ask her to also pay fees for two days, which would equal to about $2,467.
Back in April, her lawyer, Tamar Arminak, told the news outlet that ‘Amanda is doing great, working on herself, taking some well-deserved time off to focus on her well-being after graduating the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising back in December. She is spending time reading and exercising, sketching for her upcoming line and mostly making sure that she puts her needs first.’
She was also on the cover of PAPER’s Break the Internet issue and opened up about her radical behavioral changes and also plans to return to her acting career in ‘kind of the same way I did as a child, which is with excitement and hope for the best. I have no fear of the future. I have been through the worst and came out the other end so I just feel like it is only up from here.’
As for the lawsuit filed against her, brand new reports claim she has nothing to worry about anymore since Creative Care Inc. has filed to dismiss it.
It was apparently, a request to dismiss without prejudice which means that they are allowed to refile later on, if needed.
