Amanda Bynes is one of America’s darling child actresses who has grown up into a woman with her fair share of public, mental health battles. As news surfaced towards the end of 2018, that Amanda Bynes was returning to the public eye and focusing on her acting career, fans were thrilled. She drew support and praise from many online and her photoshoot for Paper went viral.

People praised her beauty, comedic wit, openness and welcomed her back. Sadly, things are not as easy for Bynes in the public eye as they are for the public to welcome her back.

TMZ has learned that the pressure of the public spotlight and balancing life and a return to media has proved too much for Amanda and she has relapsed. According to the report, she checked herself into a drug rehabilitation clinic back in January where she has been getting help to stay healthy and free from addiction.

Amanda was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and as more people learn and understand what BPD is, they are lending their support, compassion, and encouragement.

Bynes had wiped her Twitter account and the only tweet she shared was the link to her Paper interview back in November. She hasn’t been active on social media for months lending credence to the report that she has been working on her health for over two months.

Amanda Bynes has been the subject of intense scrutiny, not only for her bipolar diagnosis and past allegations against her father for sexual abuse (a claim he adamantly denies) but many suspect Bynes may have been one of Hollywood’s child sexual abuse victims.

While Bynes worked on Nickelodeon’s All That and The Amanda Show, she regularly worked with several people who have since been convicted of sexual assault against minors as well as been rumored to be pedophiles and sexual abusers. Though Amanda Bynes has not stated anything definitively, the Internet is full of rumors and conspiracies that show multitudes of people believe Amanda was victimized as a child during her successful television and movie career.

Whatever the root cause of Amanda Bynes mental health and drug addictions may be, she has the love, support, and understanding of countless who hope she overcomes this latest setback and lives her best life full of happiness and joy.
