After graduating college, Amanda Bynes has been ‘working on herself’ a new insider report says. As you may know, the actress had a relapse back in January and received professional help for her mental health problems and addiction at a facility.

Tamar Arminak, her family attorney shared with E! News that ‘Amanda is doing great, working on herself, and taking some well-deserved time off to focus on her wellbeing after graduating FIDM [Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising] in December. She’s spending time reading and exercising, sketching for her new line and mostly making sure this time around she puts her needs first.’

Bynes started going to FIDM at the beginning of 2014 after leaving another treatment facility and a few months after being placed on an involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold.

In the fall of that same year, she was arrested on a DUI suspicion but the accusations were later dismissed.

Again, she sought help and remained at a facility for a month.

Amanda opened up about her bipolar disorder diagnosis and manic depression on social media, also around that time.

A year later, she was back at FIDM and was right back on track to graduate in the fall of 2018.

During an interview with Paper magazine in November, she revealed she had been sober for four years and credited her parents for it.

‘My advice to anybody who’s struggling from substance abuse would be to be very careful because drugs can really take a toll of your life. Everybody’s different but for me, the mixture of marijuana and whatever other drugs and drinking really messed up my brain,’ she went on to say.

Amanda added that ‘It really made me a completely different person. I actually am a nice person. I’d never feel, say or do any of the things that I did and said to the people I hurt on Twitter.’
