Amber Heard Reportedly Mocked Johnny Depp For Saying He Was A 'Domestic Abuse Victim'

A new report suggested that Amber Heard once mocked Johnny Depp about his severed finger. She challenged him to “tell the world,” insinuating that no one would care. Page Six says the text message exchange in question comes from their 2015 fight in Australia.
At the time, Johnny was working on the third installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Amid their brutal fight, Heard threw a bottle of vodka at him which wound up severely cutting his finger. The actor used the blood from his finger to write “I love you” across his mirror.
His lawyer, David Sherborne, read a text message from Johnny in which he wrote that he “lost a f*cking finger man.” Depp added in the same message that she threw a can of spirits at his face, insinuating that he at least had something to complain about following Amber’s taunts.
Sherborne used the same text message thread to show how Amber admitted to not only attacking him but also simultaneously mocking him.
Amber suggested in the text messages that even if he did come out with his story of abuse, there would be no outrage.

Fans of the actor know that he is currently suing The Sun for their 2018 article in which they referred to him as a violent man who abused his ex-wife. Depp has repeatedly denied the allegations against him.
Earlier this week, Page Six reported that Johnny had also been accused by the newspaper’s lawyer of dangling Amber’s tiny dog out of their car window while driving at high speeds.
Next week, the court and jury will hear testimony from Depp’s former partners, Winona Ryder, and Vanessa Pardis, who have previously supported him. Winona and Vanessa both have written statements in defense of the actor, describing him as one of the sweetest, most gentle people they knew.
Johnny and Amber split up in 2017 amid the release of a videotape which appeared to show Johnny flying into a fit of rage while opening a bottle of wine.
