Andy Cohen Revealed What He Said In A Note To Wendy Williams After News Of Divorce Broke

Wendy Williams and Andy Cohen laid their feud to rest earlier this month when the night time host appeared on the daytime hosts’ talk show. It turns out that Kevin Hunter was the reason a lot of Wendy’s key friendships fell apart and Andy is just another person who is rooting for the divorcee.

When Andy stopped by the show to chat with Wendy, he told her that her husband was not his biggest fan. Although it’s unknown why the two fell out, it’s safe to assume that it was because of Kevin Hunter.

The new father even recently revealed to Page Six that as soon as he heard the news that Wendy was cutting her messy ex loose legally, he sent her a note that read: ‘Look, I’ve been staying away, but I hope that we can reconnect sometime. I’m happy for you and I’m rooting for you.’

The olive branch clearly worked because shortly after he was sitting on her show telling her she seems light as a feather.

This isn’t the only rekindled relationship for Williams. The 55-year-old also fixed things with her former employee Charlamagne Tha God.

The Breakfast Club host was one of the first to spill the tea on Kevin Hunter’s abusive ways and shocking affair. After his long phone call with the New York native, he explained why he reached out.

‘For me, [as] someone who used to be friends with Wendy, work with Wendy, and having a front-row seat to a lot of the abuse I saw her endure, I’m just happy that she’s finally free of that stuff. I wish her the best. She’s got a lot of healing to do, and I’m all about healing and letting go of toxic people in your life. I think when you let go of toxic people in your life, that’s a big step in loving yourself, so I hope she keeps going.’

Hopefully, Wendy continues to mend her burned bridges.
