Angelina Jolie Not Planning To Get Involved In Brad Pitt And Son Maddox’s Tense Relationship - Here's Why!

The oldest Jolie-Pitt kid, Maddox 18, has hinted during an interview not too long ago that his relationship with his dad, Brad Pitt is not the best. This is something that has been reported for years, ever since Angie filed for divorce.

But while it sounds like the father-son relationship is still pretty tense, one source tells HollywoodLife that the mother has promised herself not to interfere in any way.

They explained to the news outlet that ‘She respects that they have their own relationship and is staying out of it.’

Maddox has started college in South Korea, at Yonsei University, one of the three most prestigious in the country.

That being said, the proud mother made sure to drop him off on campus and was very saddened to say goodbye.

Asked by a paparazzo if he thinks Brad would also visit him at college at some point, Maddox was unsure.

‘I don’t know about that and what’s happening,’ the teen responded.

The same thing cannot be said about Angelina who, ‘would prefer not to make a huge scene at Maddox’s new school but that will still not keep her from visiting. She’s already been there with Maddox for the start of the semester and they had no problems so she is not worried about going back. But she’s letting Maddox call the shots as far as how often and when she visits. The most important thing to her is that her son knows she fully has his back and supports him.’

Meanwhile, there are reports that say Brad is also very proud of Maddox and is doing his best to befriend him, even though their relationship is a bit strained.
