Angelina Jolie Reportedly Compared Chris Hemsworth To A Young Brad Pitt

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have been dominating entertainment headlines recently due to their sudden split. But, at the same time, a rumor about his big brother Chris is making its way through the internet, claiming there is trouble in his marriage to Elsa Pataky because of Angelina Jolie.

The rumor began when Chris Hemsworth sat next to Jolie at the Golden Globes earlier this year, and Pataky was nowhere to be seen. Chris later explained that his wife couldn’t make it to the awards show, and he decided to sit next to Jolie because he and his wife are big fans.

The rumor really gained steam when Chris and Angie appeared on the same stage at San Diego’s Comic-Con, and a report claimed that the mom-of-six slipped the Avengers: Endgame star her phone number.

Jolie “loved every second of being with Chris at Comic-Con and desperately wants to work on some hot-blooded project as an onscreen couple with him,” claimed an insider, adding that the Oscar-winner “sees Chris as this younger, sexier, more exciting version of Brad.”

The source also claimed that Pataky has laid down the law and told her husband that he can’t have any contact with Jolie because of her history with stealing people’s husbands. As everyone knows, Jolie started her romance with Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

One of Jolie’s reps has debunked these rumors, saying that “none of this is remotely true,” and this is just the latest in a long line of false stories about Jolie. In the past, different publications have linked her to Keanu Reeves, as well as Sean Penn.

As the Latin Times points out, there was actually a third person in the Golden Globes pic that sparked the original rumor – Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. Hemsworth joked on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the internet “cropped out” his real date.

There have also been rumors swirling about Pitt and Aniston, with some claiming that the two are secretly dating again now that they are both single. But, just like the Jolie and Hemsworth rumor, there doesn’t appear to be any truth to it. The exes are friends, though, and Pitt attended Aniston’s 50th birthday party in February.
