Are Britney Spears And Justin Timberlake Still Friends?

When Justin Timberlake left a comment on Britney Spears’ video of herself dancing to his song “Filthy” fans freaked out, as reported by Dylan Fisher. Many were surprised to see Britney talk about her break up with Justin and they were more surprised to see Justin respond. Now, people are asking if they are actually still friends. While some thought that was the first time they had spoken to each other in years, a new report in the upcoming May 11, 2020, issue of OK! magazine indicates that is far from the case. The article quoted a source who said that the two are actually still friends and have been for years.

OK! magazine reported the following describing the couple’s friendship.

“It’s purely platonic, and they don’t talk all that often, but Justin checks in on her from time to time. They’ll give each other career advice, call when they have a birthday or sometimes just to catch up — though they both insist that’s as far as it goes.”

Both Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears have significant others and are happy. Justin and his wife Jessica Biel went through a rough patch but are now back together and doing extremely well. Britney Spears has found happiness with fitness trainer Sam Asghari only she recently revealed that they have been separated due to the Coronavirus pandemic and both are missing each other.

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears may still be friends, but there isn’t anything happening beyond that.

There were some people who thought that Justin’s response seemed like he and Britney were being flirtatious but the source assured that couldn’t have been further from the case.

The source continued to state the following.

“There’s nothing romantic going on between them, but a lot of people think they were the love of each other’s lives, so those feelings mus turn pretty deep. Their significant others may not like that they still chat, but it’s something they’ve just accepted.”
