Are Kacey Musgraves And Ruston Kelly Getting Divorced?

Are Kacey Musgraves and her husband Ruston Kelly getting divorced? That’s the subject of a new report by OK! Magazine in the January 27, 2020, issue. According to the report, a source is dishing that Kacey and Ruston, who have been married for two years, are getting divorced. The source says the reason is that the two are splitting up is that they simply drifted apart. Fans did notice that when Kacey attended the Country Music Awards, she went with her gal pal Gigi Hadid and her husband was nowhere to be seen. Kacey is also spending a lot of time with Kendall Jenner, and the source dishes that Ruston feels left out.

Some fans thought that Kacey and Ruston were having a relationship similar to Dolly Parton’s and her husband Carl Dean. Dolly and Carl have been married since the 60s but the couple has managed to keep Carl out of the public eye. It was believed that Kacey was leaving Ruston at home, in the same way that Dolly tends to attend high-profile events and award shows solo, so to protect her husband’s privacy. Since Ruston is a singer/songwriter, it simply didn’t make sense to fans why he wasn’t attending award shows with his wife and some thought he wanted to stay out of the public spotlight as much as possible.

Now it seems that isn’t the case, and Ruston simply isn’t interested in living a Hollywood lifestyle.

The source stated the following to OK!

“Their relationship seems to be coming to an end. Kacey has been telling friends that marriage can be tough and that she may have made a mistake tying the knot so soon. After all, she knew Ruston for only nine months before getting engaged.”

It’s also been discovered that both Kacey and Ruston have deleted all photos of each other from their social media accounts.

The source put the fault on Kacey’s touring schedule that kept the newlyweds apart and allowed them room to grow in different directions. There may also be an issue with Kacey’s famous friends. The source dished that Ruston isn’t particularly fond of her new crowd and feels that Kacey has changed.
