According to Arnold Schwarzenegger, he’s feeling “fantastic” after undergoing heart surgery, USA Today reported this weekend. The 73-year-old dropped a tweet this Friday in which he touched on his most recent surgery on his aortic valve.

USA Today got their hands on a report from Mayo Clinic in which they explained exactly what such a valve does. Apparently, the aortic value functions in such a way where it keeps the blood flowing in the proper direction to the heart.

On his Twitter, Arnold thanked the doctors and medical professionals over at the Cleveland Clinic. He also captioned a number of his photos with him showing a thumbs up. You can check out one of these tweets below:

Reportedly, Arnold has had a congenital heart defect since he was first born, which Daniel Ketchell revealed in 2018. More importantly, his family has a history of heart problems, including his mother and his maternal grandmother.

As it was previously reported, Arnold had open-heart surgery back in March of 2018 where he had to get a pulmonary valve replaced which was originally taken care of twenty-three years ago in 1997. Back in April of 2018, Arnold tweeted, “it’s true: I’m back!”

While Arnold is almost always in the headlines these days for positive reasons, with the exception of his various health problems, the tabloids have speculated on the way in which he and Maria Shriver have been dealing with Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger, Arnold’s daughter.

As most know, Chris and Katherine are currently expecting a baby. A report from Ok! Magazine, however, claimed Arnold and Maria have been too protective of Katherine, and even downright intimidating as he and his wife are gearing up to have a baby.

The source who spoke with OK! magazine for the 1st of June issue claimed Maria and Arnold were both excited at the idea of having a grandchild, but “they’ve become very pushy.”

In response to the issue of OK! Magazine, social media users argued that it made sense for Chris to be a little intimidated due to the fact his father-in-law is Arnold Schwarzenegger.
