In a recent interview, Ashanti spoke about her impressive physique with reporter Francesca Amiker while attending the 2019 Bounce Trumpet Awards.

Francesca asked: “I have finally met ‘Body Goals!’ You know that’s what everyone calls you on the internet, right?” So, I have to ask you the first question … I know you’re here performing, but, ok … what is your daily diet and what is your daily exercise?”

Ashanti replied by: “Oh my gosh, my daily diet?” I’m on a juice cleanse right now! It’s all plant-based, beyond burgers, asparagus, veggies, stuff like that. And I try to get in my crunches and jump rope in.” The diva went on to say: “About four days a week.”

The R&B queen went on to share a positive message with others. She confessed: “Dream big, think big. Be a boss. It’s all about positive music, positive energy.”
