Ashlee Simpson Has Baby Fever After Meeting Jessica Simpson’s Daughter Birdie

Ashlee Simpson has baby fever after meeting her new niece, Birdie. Jessica Simpson welcomed her third child last week, and now her younger sister has babies on the brain.

The singer appeared on the show Daily Pop the other day, and the subject of her sister’s baby came up. Simpson was there with her husband, Evan Ross when they were asked about the newest addition to their family.

“I’m not pregnant, but it definitely gave me the baby fever a little bit,” the mother of two shared, half joking and half serious.

Fans of the reality TV show Ashlee + Evan know the topic of having another child has been one frequently discussed by the couple. They already have a daughter, 3-year-old Jagger. Simpson also has a son, 10-year-old Bronx, with her ex-husband Pete. Despite their desire to expand their family the couple was busy being parents and releasing music at the time, so they shelved the discussion.

However, based on the ‘Pieces of Me’ singer’s reaction to her niece, they just might be rethinking having another baby. Last year during their E! show, the couple had decided to hold off on expanding their family to this year.

“It’s definitely soon, in the next year. Definitely in the next year would be nice,” Simpson shared with E! News last August, as she and her husband celebrated his 30th birthday.

Perhaps now with the arrival of baby Birdie, as well as their choice to wait to have a baby until 2019, Simpson and Ross will also add a new addition to the family.

In the meantime, Simpson is relishing being an Aunt. She gushed about how well Jessica’s kids, Maxwell, age 6 and Ace, age 5 are adjusting to having a baby in the house. Simpson also expressed how much she loves precious Birdie.

“My heart is so full!! Welcome to the world Birdie,” Simpson captioned the picture of her two nieces.

Ashlee Simpson has babies on the brain thanks to her sister Jessica Simpson giving birth to her third child on March 19th. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean fans should be on bump watch but she and Evan Ross are positively thinking about having another baby.

The entire Simpson family is relishing in the joy of having Birdie Mae. If things go the way her Aunt Ashlee wants, the little darling might get another cousin this year.
