After three Southern Charm stars revealed this week that they were not returning to the Bravo reality series for Season 7, Ashley Jacobs is speaking out about the drama. Surprisingly, the former Southern Charm villain defended her rival Kathryn Dennis and slammed the three women who left the show – Cameran Eubanks, Naomie Olindo, and Chelsea Meissner.

All three women have accused Dennis of falsely claiming that Eubanks’ husband, Jason Wimberly, has been having an affair for two years with a Charleston, South Carolina, makeup artist named Rebecca Wash.

According to People magazine, Dennis first voiced her claims about Wimberly’s alleged infidelity when the cast was filming Season 7 earlier this year before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down production. However, all of this didn’t come to light until earlier this week, and both Eubanks and Wash have publicly denied that the affair ever happened.

Eubanks, Olindo, and Meissner have all said on social media that this kind of drama – fueled by Dennis – is the exact reason why they all decided to quit the show and not return for Season 7. However, Jacobs says that the three women were the ones who enabled this kind of drama, and she experienced it when she was part of Southern Charm.

As fans know, Jacobs dated Thomas Ravenel – Dennis’ ex and baby daddy – and was a recurring cast member during Season 5. The California nurse says that the drama that has emerged this past week is nothing new, and she added that Eubanks, Olindo, and Meissner never had her back when she was at war with Dennis. The show made Jacobs the villain, and no one defended her.

“The whole cast was aware of this behavior the WHOLE time,” Jacobs wrote on her Instagram Stories. “The only reason you defended her while cameras were filming (not off camera, keep in mind) was because you lacked the integrity to be honest and real in front of the cameras for fear of unpopular opinion.”

Jacobs added that the ladies created their “Kween” (referring to Dennis) by condoning this behavior, and questioned why they were all upset about it now. She admitted that she was “100% wrong” with how she handled Dennis when they were feuding, but she “never once” pretended to be something she wasn’t.

“You were ALL enablers. I wish I would have used the word COWARDS instead. Seems a bit more fitting,” wrote Ashley Jacobs, who claimed that the reason Season 5 of Southern Charm was the highest-rated season in the show’s history was because it featured someone who had the courage to speak the truth.
