August Alsina is telling his entire story and cleaning out his laundry. The New Orleans, LA native shared a lengthy post on Instagram accompanied by photos comparing him today versus last year.

A backer of the talented crooner replied: “We can’t forget this man took in his three nieces after his brother was killed and raised them by himself. He still has respect on his name.”

A second supporter chimed in: “Actually August has always been pretty open about his life, so I don’t think it was for sales. It’s something he has always done since he became a musician.”

A critic argued that the singer is right to be sharing his journey, especially in light of the Jada Pinkett Smitt controversy: “We need to start holding more Women accountable for stuff like this. Jada was so wrong, smh.”

Another person, who is putting some of the blame on Jada, replied: “Wasn’t much her mother just posted people make mistakes and stuff addressing the issue basically admitting Jada did what she did instead just not saying anything.”

August has gotten a lot of coverage following his revelation that Will Smith and his wife, Jada, have an alone relationship, and he reportedly had a long affair with the actress.

The power couple has denied the story, and Jada is supposed to address the matter on her Facebook show Red Table Talk later this month.
