Those who survived Thanos’ finger snap in Avengers: Infinity War are doing their best to take the fight to him in the upcoming superhero ensemble. Thanos may have gotten the better of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in their first encounter, but the Avengers are adding someone who might tip the scales in their favor in Avengers: Endgame.
Disney just released a new trailer for the upcoming film, which promises to conclude the main story arc from the previous four movies. The trailer features a few familiar faces returning to action, including Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd).

But it was Captain Marvel’s (Brie Larson) inclusion in the trailer that got fans really excited about the coming battle.
According to Variety, the very end of the clip shows Thor standing in front of Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, while summoning his new weapon. After studying Captain Marvel for a couple of seconds, Thor pronounces, “I like her,” before the trailer ends.
The trailer marks the second time we have seen Captain Marvel in action alongside other members of the superhero team. In the post-credits scene of Captain Marvel, the eponymous superhero appeared on Earth after Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) called her on his modified beeper.
We have no idea how Captain Marvel will be incorporated into the storyline in Endgame, but her powers certainly rival anything we have seen so far, including Thanos’.

Anthony and Joe Russo are bringing back their entire team for the new movie, including writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. The previous film in Marvel’s hit franchise, Infinity War, was one of the highest-earning movies of all time, bringing in a little over $2 billion at the box office.
Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to premiere in theaters on April 26.
