Barack Obama Says His Daughters Are 'Afraid Of Michelle' But They Always 'Mock' Him - 'I'm The Brunt Of Every Joke!'

The former POTUS opened up about his family dynamics during a new interview, even joking about being the one not taken seriously in his household! Barack Obama revealed that his and Michelle Obama‘s two college-aged daughters, Sasha and Malia, are rather scared of their strict mom but the same cannot be said about him!

That’s right! It turns out that one of the most iconic leaders of the Free World is just the ‘brunt of every joke’ in his own home!

While on the latest episode of the Dax Shephard and Monica Padman’s Armchair Expert podcast, Barack talked about the dynamics between his family members, sharing that Malia and Sasha take their mom very seriously, while mocking their dad constantly.

‘They know that I am all bark and no bite. Michelle, she is the top dog ’cause they are scared of her. Michelle says you have to always have at least one parent who the kids think is a little crazy and might actually kill you,’ the former President told the hosts.

Hearing this, Dax was curious to know if this has always been the case or if he was taken any more seriously by his daughters back when he was still in office.

‘Absolutely not!’ he replied, adding that ‘You’re never a prophet in your own land. In fact, I’m generally the brunt of every single joke in the househol. At the dinner table, the 3 of them just mock me constantly about my big ears or about my weird habits or my fashion sense or if I mispronounce the name of some hip hop star Sasha has been listening to. They all go, ‘What an idiot.’ So that is basically the vibe at my house.’

Regardless, Barack is not at all bothered by this and in fact, he thinks his daughters are incredibly strong and well adjusted, which only makes him very happy and proud, especially since they have inherited that from his beloved life partner!
