Beau Clark Thought That Stassi Schroeder Was 'Awful'

Beau Clark and Stassi Schroeder have quickly become the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ fan favorite couple after the reality star introduced her new boyfriend to viewers during the latest season of the show. The book author sat down with the ‘New York Times’ and gave some insight on what the casting director thought she was like before making her his girlfriend.

After her best friends Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute finally convinced her to meet their friend Beau, Stassi started dating the man who seems to be husband material. However, Clark thought that she was ‘awful.’

It turns out that he was only referring to her portrayal on the pilot of ‘VPR.’

Described as ‘awful but in a really good television way,’ Beau reflects on getting to know the real Stassi.

He revealed: “As a joke sometimes when she’s bratty, I’m like, ‘O.K., you’re being Season 1 Stassi right now.”

The 30-year-old is preparing for her very first book to be released. ‘Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic B**** Handbook,’ is slated to be an advice book full of really bad advice.

“It’s advice that you maybe shouldn’t follow. I’m just saying, ‘This is what I do, this is what I have done, this is what I would do, but I might be totally wrong. I’ve gotten it wrong so many times, and people can relate to that.”

From her days of choosing the wrong men and alienating her best friends, Stassi has changed for the better. However, she still has her annual birthday breakdowns and problems with trusting men due to her past bad relationships.

She’s the first to admit that there are many things that she hasn’t gotten right just yet but she will keep being herself no matter how hard life gets.

“I might not be that great at anything specific, but I think I am good at being honest. If you’re trying to pretend to be something that you’re not or if you’re overthinking things, you can see it.”
