Just a year after the two rekindled their romance, it seems like Bella Hadid and The Weeknd are over once again! According to new reports, the star power couple has put an end to their on again, off again relationship that originally started back in 2015.

One source tells E! News that ‘Bella and Abel (the singer’s real name) have split.’

The insider went on to explain that what drove them apart this time around was actually the ‘distance’ between them.

‘They are in different places now, both physically and mentally. Bella is prepping for all her fashion week commitments while Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut,’ they explained.

As fans remember, this is in no way the first time Bella and Abel are splitting.

They started going out, as far as the public knows, back in 2015 when they were spotted getting cozy at Coachella.

Then, in December of that year, they broke up, only to get back together in February.

They have been on again, off again since, and now, they made it for a full year before calling it quits once again.

Like it happens in the case of many other celebrity couples, their conflicting schedules seemingly caused their split.

‘They have been arguing a lot recently. They have not spent quality time together in months,’ the source mentioned.

But that is not to say this time is for sure over for good!

The insider is not ruling out a reunion further down the road.

‘They hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects,’ they dished to the news outlet.
