Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas are no longer an item! The two dated for about a year but according to some new reports, they have separated!

Now, one source tells People magazine that their romance was rather ‘complicated’ so they were not surprised by the breakup.

Apparently, this was because of their living situation, the insider telling the news outlet that Ana did not want to live in Los Angeles, which is why she was the one to end things with the actor after almost a year of dating.

As fans know, Ben Affleck is based in L.A. in order to be close to his three kids he shares with former wife, Jennifer Garner – Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12 and Samuel, 8.

The source explained via People about the split that ‘This is something that’s mutual and was completely amicable. They’re at different points in their lives. There’s deep love and respect there. Ben continues to want to work on himself. They are both happy with where they’re in their lives.’

The now-exes met while working on the film Deep Water and in February of 2020, they were seen out and about, spending some quality time together off-set.

However, one more month passed until fans started to think they were more than just co-stats who just enjoyed each other’s company.

At the time, Ben was caught in her hometown of Havana, Cuba, where the couple hung out.

During a beach trip in Costa Rica, their romance became very apparent since they were seen packing some PDA.

For a few weeks after returning to the United States, Ben and Ana were inseparable, partially because of their romance, partially because of the lockdown.

They would often be seen out and about, kissing and holding hands, never really trying to hide their love from the paparazzi.

Things were going so well that Ana even got to meet Ben’s kids, the photographers catching them on several outings with the young ones.
