Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Exchanged Flirty Emails While Her Relationship With Alex Rodriguez Was Struggling!

According to some new reports, weeks before being seen hanging out for the first time recently, Ben Affleck reached out to his ex-fiance, Jennifer Lopez. Apparently, the actor just wanted to let her know that he had been thinking about her but that was not all!

One source tells TMZ that Ben started flirting with Jen over email, telling her how beautiful she is and more!

This apparently happened while she was still in the Dominican Republic filming for her upcoming movie titled Shotgun Wedding.

Around that time was also when her relationship with Alex Rodriguez started to experience serious problems.

The outlet mentions that Jennifer responded to Ben and the two started emailing each other back and forth, the flirty correspondence continuing all throughout her filming period.

While the emails remain private, sources tell TMZ that Ben would gush over Jen’s beauty and express how much he wished he was there, in the Dominican Republic with her!

Meanwhile, the triple threat would flirt right back, praising Ben’s writing and telling him that he could ‘own her heart’ with his beautiful words alone.

During that time, Ben was also working, shooting The Tender Bar in Boston and the insider stressed that the celebs did not meet once but simply chatted online, bonding again.

At some point, Alex Rodriguez actually travelled to the Dominican Republic amid their relationship problems to try and save it.

In the end, he was unsuccessful and their engagement was officially broken not too long after.

Two weeks after, Jennifer was seen hanging out with Ben in Los Angeles and they would continue to be seen spending time together.

During Mother’s Day weekend, they even went on a vacation, just the two of them!
