Ben Affleck Makes Surprising Confession About His Love Life While Leaning On Ex-Wife Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck and the mother of his children, Jennifer Garner, went their separate ways about five years ago. Ben dated after the divorce, but it seems that he has yet to find Mrs. Right.

Even though the Oscar winner is continually being rescued by his former spouse, he still has some hope of finding love once more.

Ben sat for an interview on Good Morning America, where he confessed that he is eager to have a “meaningful” relationship.

A source close to Ben stated the following to Hollywood Life: “Ben is a relationship guy and always will be. He is not throwing the idea of ever getting married again out the door. There is no reason to shut that out of his life. If he falls in love with someone and marriage makes sense, he will do it. Someone right for him and someone that his kids would love is something that time will take, but he is, without a doubt, a relationship guy and loves romance. He is going to allow life to work itself out, and if that includes marriage down the line, then wonderful.”

The insider continued with: “Ben is open to the idea of settling down with the right person and getting married again when the time is right. Ben has always been a hopeless romantic, and although his past relationships haven’t worked out for one reason or another, it doesn’t mean he’s given up on the possibility of finding love again. He’s in a really good place right now and focused on his career. But his number one focus is on his kids and his happiness, and he knows everything else will fall into place.”

Another person went on to say that one thing is for sure. Jen is not at all interested in getting back with her ex.

The family friend said: “It’s not going to lead to them getting back together, but it’s going to improve their friendship that they have been trying to work on while being co-parents. Seeing him fight his demons that she has wanted him to fight for so long shows that her words haven’t gone unheard. She respects him a lot more than what she has over the last couple of years. It is inspiring for Jen to see how Ben is changing his life for the better.”

The pair made their separation known in 2015, and their divorce was finalized in 2018, and they share three children — Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 7.
