Ben Affleck has been in the limelight ever since he and Matt Damon penned the script for the Academy Award-winning film, Good Will Hunting, which was picked up by Robin Williams after floating around for years with no one interested in it.

Affleck and Matt Damon, while they rarely appear on screen together (with a few exceptions) have since been friends. However, Affleck has had a more tumultuous time in the limelight as a result of his relationship with Jennifer Lopez and then Jennifer Garner.

As fans of the actor know, he and Garner were married for almost a decade and they had several children together, however, once their marriage finally fell apart (which have sources have stated was partially due to his drinking problem), the ex-couple became the target of vicious media headlines.

Additionally, the lackluster response to his film, Batman versus Superman put even more pressure on him to get back on track again. Ben said in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he went through a lot to get himself back into the good graces of Hollywood.

For a little while, it seemed like it wasn’t going to happen for Affleck but he slowly rose up from the ashes.  If Affleck’s romantic life is an indication of anything, on the other hand, then things must be going well. These days, Ben is dating the actress, Ana de Armas, and the couple has been spotted in public together many times over the last few months, pre-and-post pandemic.

Ana and Ben, for instance, have been spotted walking their dogs and in more public situations. In other news, Ben recently explored the making of one of his films, Justice League, explaining how it was a brutal film to create, but his kids loved it, or at least the fact he was able to use the costume.

Ben said that he wore the suit to his son’s birthday party which made it worth every second. According to another report, Ben will appear as Bruce Wayne once again in “The Flash,” which is scheduled to make it into theaters in 2022.
