Stiller brought out the humor and other SNL players also got involved with the skit. Many who watched the show quickly took to social media to praise the skit and some called it the best skit of the night.

John Mulaney returned as host and things took a humorous turn when Ben Stiller played Michael Cohen to Bill Hader’s portrayal of Republican Representative Jim Jordan. If you watched the hearings over the past week you would have seen many contentious moments between Jim Jordan and Michael Cohen, which quickly became the focus of the evening’s skit.

One of CNN’s running headlines with the coverage was that Michael Cohen had pronounced Donald Trump as a liar, racist, and conman. Ben Stiller worked this into the skit which you can see play out in the video below.

Describing President Trump as a con man, Ben Stiller stated the following and gave a quick

“For too many years I was loyal to a man when I shouldn’t have been,” he said. “Now I know how Khloe Kardashian feels.”

Here is the video clip showing the skit.

Representative Jim Jordan’s exuberant exclamations during the hearing took social media by storm. Because of Michael Cohen’s perjury conviction, many thought that his testifying before Congress was a sham from the start.

Ben Stiller addressed this in his opening when he stated the following.

“Thank you for inviting me here today to correct the record under oath. Of course, the first time I testified was also under oath. This time, I like really mean it.”

There were several tense moments during the real hearing, but none that truly compared to the banter exchanged between Rep. Jim Jordan and Michael Cohen.
