Bethenny Frankel Confesses She's Not Done 'Mourning' Former Boyfriend Dennis Shields

It’s been seven months since Bethenny Frankel’s former boyfriend, Dennis Shields passed away, and the reality TV star is still keeping him in her thoughts. The woman took to social media earlier today to open up about her mourning process.
She explained that ‘It is like the weather. There can be weeks and weeks of sunshine then one day you get whacked with a storm.’
The post comes after Billions creator Brian Koppelman made an episode that was dedicated to his ‘brother’ Shields.
‘In Memory of Dennis Shields,’ a title card at the end of the episode read.
The way Bethenny found out about this was through a social media user who was deeply touched by the tribute and decided to let the star know about it.
Frankel explained the Showtime program connection and also mentioned that ‘He really is missed and touched so many people’s lives.’
The businessman passed away at the age of only 51 of a reported, but not confirmed, drug overdose.
He was found in his Trump Tower home back in August of 2018.
The cause of his death has been ruled by New York City coroners as ‘undetermined.’
Not too long after Shields passed away, Bethenny took to social media to post about the shocking loss.
She tweeted at the time that ‘It is hard to breathe and I really appreciate you giving me space and support to try to do so. It’s an excruciating-sudden death is no closure and constant memories. Our relationship’s current so it is painfully raw. Trying to stay healthy and to move through it with tears and close friends.’
