Bethenny Frankel might be leaving the Real Housewives of New York after Season 11. The Skinnygirl mogul revealed that she wants to scale things back in her career so that she can focus on raising her daughter, Bryn, sparking speculation that she may not return for Season 12.
Frankel made the comments during a court appearance a week ago. Frankel appeared before a judge to fight for custody of her 8-year-old, whom she shares with former husband Jason Hoppy. The reality star argued that her daughter is her main focus moving forward and that she wants to “lighten [her] load.”

“I’ve chosen to wind things down,” Frankel shared. “It goes from having nothing to being successful to being comfortable.”
According to All About The Real Housewives, Frankel revealed that she made the decision to slow down because of Hoppy’s behavior over the past few years. Hoppy’s history of stalking Frankel has been well documented on the show, and the reality star explained how she got tired of juggling her career, being a mom, and dealing with Hoppy.
Frankel did not, unfortunately, say what scaling back means. There is a possibility that Frankel is planning to leave after this season, especially considering how much the stress the show puts on everyone involved. But until Frankel confirms her departure, there’s no telling what she will do in the coming months.
As if dealing with her custody battle isn’t enough, Frankel was also recently diagnosed with a wheat allergy and leaky gut syndrome. The RHONY star revealed the news with a playful note on Twitter.

The diagnosis comes a few months after Frankel almost died due to an allergic reaction to seafood. As fans will recall, Frankel was administered an EpiPen at the time and was rushed to the hospital for further treatment.
Bethenny Frankel has not commented on her future on RHONY after Season 11.
New episodes of the Real Housewives of New York air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
