Big Bang's Johnny Galecki Reportedly Engaged To His Much Younger GF

Johnny Galecki is about to tie the knot with his 21-year-old girlfriend Alaina Meyer. Despite a significant age gap, the 43-year-old Big Bang star recently proposed to his girlfriend and is ready to take things to the next level.

Meyer’s brother, Evan Bozajian, confirmed the engagement news and assured fans that the two are head-over-heels in love. The actor went public with the romance in the summer of 2018 but has not commented on their future wedding plans.

According to Radar Online, Galecki was spotted wearing what appeared to be a wedding band just prior to Valentine’s Day. Earlier this week, Meyer proudly displayed her engagement ring on social media, sparking intense rumors amongst fans.

Although it sounds like the two are set to walk down the aisle, Meyer’s brother described their engagement as more of a “promise ring” situation. Bozajian explained how the Big Bang star recently asked their father for permission to marry Meyer and that things are in a pre-engagement stage more than anything else.

“My dad is old-fashioned so Johnny figured asking him for my sister’s hand in marriage would be the respectful thing to do instead of outright [proposing] on his own,” Meyer’s brother shared.

Bozajian noted that Galecki has met the entire family and that everything has gone great so far. He also revealed that Galecki does not act like he’s an A-list celebrity whenever he comes to town. Coupled with the fact that he does not have a big ego, Meyer’s family has apparently really taken a liking to him.

Back in December, Galecki and Meyer faced similar engagement rumors, which she immediately shut down on social media. She has yet to do the same about this week’s report.

Before dating Meyer, Galecki was involved in a relationship with his co-star, Kaley Cuoco. This past fall, Galecki walked the red carpet with Meyer, confirming their relationship in public for the first time. Meyer is currently employed as an event planner. She also dabbles in producing and used to be a fabricator manager.
