Billie Eilish Is Obsessed With 'The Office,' But Rainn Wilson Says It's Time To Move On To A New Show

Grammy award-winner Billie Eilish is only 18 years old, but she’s a super fan of a sitcom that is nearly as old as she is. The Bad Guy singer has watched all nine seasons of The Office a whopping 15 times, but Rainn Wilson – who played assistant to the regional manager Dwight Schrute on the iconic NBC mockumentary – thinks it’s time for Eilish to move on to a new show.

Eilish and Wilson recently appeared together in an Instagram live video, and she dished that during the COVID-19 lockdown she watched The Office all the way through for the 15th time and had just finished two days prior to their conversation.

“Every time I hit that episode that says finale, I’m always like, ‘godd*mn it,’” confessed Eilish, to which Wilson replied: “ William! It’s time to move on to another show, really. Please!” However, after the singer completely failed a pop quiz about The Office, Wilson suggested that it might be time to watch the series again.

Wilson interviewed Eilish for his media company SoulPancake’s IG Live series Hey There, Human. The series attempts to bring together people from all over the world to find out how they are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

This isn’t the first time that Wilson has met with Eilish and quizzed her about the NBC series that she’s obsessed with. In May 2019, Eilish had only watched The Office 12 times at that point when Wilson met her for Billboard’s Quizzed series.

At that time, Wilson surprised Eilish at her Los Angeles home to quiz her on The Office. In the video, Wilson says before he knocks on the door that he is visiting the world’s number one Office fan and he was trying to find out if that was really true.

“It’s apparently a young man named Billy,” Wilson jokes, but continues to refer to the teenager as “William Eyelash” during the rest of the video.

“In all seriousness, how have you watched the show 12 times and you have an album and you’re headlining arenas?” Wilson asks.

In that video, Eilish answers the majority of Wilson’s questions, and he gifted her the yogurt lid medal from the Office Olympics that would “go well with your goth bling.”
