Billie Eilish has been a target of body shamers after that candid paparazzi photo of her in a tank top went viral. The singer usually covers up a lot and wears really loose clothes so for most, that was the first time they saw her shape more clearly.

Unfortunately, a lot of people have been really rude, body and fat shaming her all over social media.

A lot of users seemed personally offended that the artist has supposedly ‘gained weight’ but Billie now clapped back, making it very clear that she’s gained nothing and that it is just how her body has always looked under her baggy clothing.

During a new interview for Vanity Fair, Billie Eilish opened up about the incident that was, insanely enough, sparked by her simply choosing to wear a tank top on a hot day out.

She also discussed some of the most bizarre rumors out there about her, including that she is supposedly pregnant or even that she is a Satan worshiper!

Both are false, of course, and so is the rumor that she has gained weight, as she went on to confirm!

‘There is this picture of me running from my car to my brother’s front door on a 110 degree day wearing a tank top. And people were just like, ‘Damn, Billie got fat!’ And I am like, ‘Nope, this is how I look, you have just never seen it before!’ So that is the most current [rumor],’ the 18 year old told the publication.

What makes the shaming even worse is the fact that Billie started to wear baggy clothing precisely because she was dealing with insecurities in the first place!

As time went by, however, she started to like the style a lot and continued to rock it even after her body image issues got much better.
