As expected, the current president has not been properly dealing with the aftermath of yet another horrible police brutality case that has sparked national outcry! Instead, Donald Trump called protesters seeking justice in the name of George Floyd, ‘thugs’ and Billie Eilish was having none of it!

The young singer could not and would not keep quiet and so she retweeted one of the problematic posts from Trump, adding her own opinion alongside it!

Billie went on a long and angry rant, calling the president out for his insensitive and discriminatory words!

As you know, George Floyd was a man who passed away after being arrested for a minor offence due to the fact that he was pinned down by a policeman who kept his knee on his neck for nearly nine minutes even though he complained about not being able to breathe.

In the aftermath of the shocking death caught on camera by bystanders, protests of a rather explosive nature have been going on in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

SOCIETY GIVES YOU PRIVILEGE JUST FOR BEING WHITE. YOU CAN BE POOR, YOU CAN BE STRUGGLING..AND STILL YOUR SKIN COLOR IS GIVING YOU MORE PRIVILEGE THAN YOU REALIZE.’
