Did Billie Eilish’s brother, Finneas, just shoot his shot with none other than Britney Spears? The talented songwriter declared how much he loves the legendary pop singer and even proceeded to invite her on a coffee date just so that he could hear more about her life!
It’s safe to say that while this was a totally unexpected ship, fans are all for it now!
Many freaked out and showed support to the young 22 year old even though Britney is already in a relationship with her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari.
It all started with a post Finneas shared on his IG Stories reading: ‘I love you, Britney Spears.’
That same post also featured a link to a clip of Britney dancing along to Say It Right by Nelly Furtado, as well as to Billie’s i love you.
Judging by his reaction, Finneas was impressed by the pop icon’s freestyle as he proceeded to even ask her out!
‘I would really like to have coffee with you and just hear about your life and how you’re doing,’ he wrote, totally going for it with no hesitation!

Fans were quick to show him support and gush over his bravery, calling him things like ‘KING!’
Most people were either, all of a sudden shipping them while others were excited just thinking of the two collabing on new music at some point.
Here are a few reactions his post got: ‘omg the collab that would come outta this— purr.’ / ‘Billie x Britney collab.’ / ‘I’m honestly really interested what if would be like if @finneas produced a song for Britney. I think it would be very good!’
This collab would actually make a lot of sense since Britney was around Billie’s age when she rose to fame back in 1998.
In fact, the Bad Guy singer previously admitted via Vogue that she relates to the pop princess and to what early fame can do to a young artist.
