Billy Bush Says He Had Suicidal Thoughts After The Leaked Tape With Donald Trump Ruined His Life And Career

After the whole ‘locker talk’ scandal with Donald Trump back in 2016, it seemed like Billy Bush suffered more consequences than the man who actually suggested women let him ‘grab [them] by the p***y’ because he’s rich and famous. Billy Bush’s career completely went down the drain while Donald Trump went on to still win the presidential elections.

Billy was fired from the Today Show, only two months after getting the gig in the first place.

It was definitely a difficult time for him and now, he confessed that he had suicidal thoughts during an interview with the Daily Beast.

The dad of three daughters told the news outlet that ‘I’d never seriously do it [kill myself]—because I have children that really matter. But when you are really low—and this is important to include—you are emoting at the most extremes. But I am never ever a serious candidate for that. I would not, couldn’t do that to those who count on me, who love me and need me. Absolutely not.

‘But you think, ‘Oh, I would do it!’ No, no you won’t. But you are upset. Look, everyone has something. Everyone has something that’s really, really deeply upsetting. And if you have not, you will. That is for sure. And I may have something again. I hope I am conditioned to take a deep breath, acknowledge my feelings, and know that they are not here to stay,’ the man went on to explain.

Three years later, Billy’s career seems to be having a revival as he finally landed a gig to host the revamped Extra for Fox, which is premiering in just a few days (September 9.)
