Blac Chyna and Tokyo Toni have one of the most tumultuous mother and daughter relationships in celebrity history. Regardless of how rough things get, Chyna will never give up on her family.
The model spoke with US Weekly while promoting her reality show The Real Blac Chyna. She opened up about the status of her relationship with the fiery mom.
‘We’re still building it. Nothing happens overnight. Everything is like a work in [progress], really.’
This comes after Tokyo went on an Instagram rant after seeing how she was portrayed on the Zeus Network reality show.
Toni told followers: ‘I will not be appearing on the next season of the real blac chyna. Unfortunately I lost business due to the clippings that they put out. One I wanted to do this advocacy with a check in my hand about suicide but I will not be able to do that due to the clip that Zeus put out saying you can kill yourself I don’t care,’ Toni said before trying to explain that it was DC slang.
She went on to say: ‘I had all the intentions on using that money to benefit me in my life now I have to start from scratch due to the efforts of others. No I’m not pissed I’m not crying over split milk I’m just not f**king with it anymore I’m moving to something else!! Continue to watch Zeus and this show it’s going to be great with or without me. Every single scene shows me as a bad person but yet I’m doing positive things and this is just a show.’
Just days later, Tokyo took aim at Chyna’s new bestie, Wendy Williams by threatening to ‘knock her face off’ and accusing her of doing coke.
When asked how she feels about the social media posts, Chyna merely brushed them off.
‘I think that any normal person would get, like, frustrated, but at the same time, it’s like, she’s grown, she can do whatever she wants and that’s just that. It’s my mom and I love her.’
Hopefully, these two can find some common ground and continue to build a positive bond.
