Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Were Reportedly 'Blindsided' By Miranda Lambert's Wedding News

Blake Shelton was just as surprised as everyone else when Miranda Lambert tied the knot with Brendan McLoughlin. Sources say the country crooner, who divorced Lambert in the summer of 2015, was completely blindsided by her secret wedding last weekend.

“Blake found about the wedding at the same time everyone else did,” an insider dished.

Lambert and McLoughlin, an officer with the New York Police Department, exchanged vows in a secret ceremony last weekend. Lambert later confirmed the shocking news on social media and even shared several photos from the wedding.

“My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for…. Me,” she wrote alongside the photos.

According to Us Magazine, this is the first time Lambert has mentioned McLoughlin in public. The pair started dating shortly after Lambert and Evan Felker broke up in the summer of 2018. Felker and Lambert’s relationship lasted four months and resulted in him getting a divorce from his wife, Staci Felker.

Inside sources claim that Shelton had no idea Lambert’s romance with McLoughlin was getting serious. Shelton reportedly has no contact with his former wife and has never met McLoughlin, which is why he was left out of the loop.

Shelton has been involved in a serious relationship with Gwen Stefani for several years and has said little about his divorce from Lambert. The Voice star did, however, throw a little shade Lambert’s way last spring, shortly after she started dating Felker. Shelton seemingly blasted Lambert’s new relationship and told fans that it was a matter of “karma.”

The country star has also alluded to his divorce in several songs. In one track, titled “She’s Got a Way With Words,” Shelton referenced an unfaithful ex who lied to him. Fans have long speculated that Blake Shelton was singing about Lambert, though he has never confirmed the rumors.

Lambert, meanwhile, enjoyed a quiet evening in NYC a few hours after tying the knot with McLoughlin, who had a child back in November from a previous relationship. The two have not commented on the latest rumors surrounding their quickie marriage.
