According to a report from BET.com, the MTV VMAs on Monday night caught the attention of more than a few social media users. Reportedly, the star of Love And Hip Hop: Miami, Bobby Lytes, was taking shots at the rapper, Lil Nas X – again.
As fans of the reality star know, he has mentioned his desire for Lil Nas X on more than one occasion. For instance, on the 1st of July, just one day after Lil Nas X came out, the star took to his Instagram to repost a photo of the 20-year-old which explained how he felt about the “Old Town Road” crooner.
Coincidentally, Lil Nas X and Bobby Lytes were seated near each other at the MTV VMAs. Lil Nas X, however, didn’t appear to be overly interested in Lytes’ proposition attempts. You can check out his tweet below:

As it was previously reported, Lil Nas X came out as a gay man back in June of this year, not long after his song, “Old Town Road,” became arguably the biggest track of the year. The rapper took to his social media to reveal he was gay, although, he didn’t say it directly.
The response on social media was, for the most part, pretty positive and welcoming to the news. The same could be said for the rest of the black and hip-hop community, including Irv Gotti, who, during an interview with Page Six, said that Lil Nas X coming out as a gay man wasn’t a big deal in 2019.
Gotti added that things had changed a lot since the earlier days of hip-hop and rap music. Not only has the rap scene changed, but the black community is as well.
As it was previously reported, Lil Nas X released his track, “Old Town Road,” which subsequently went viral on SoundCloud and then on other streaming services. Once Billy Ray Cyrus got on board and released a remix, the song stayed on the Billboard 200 for a record amount of time.
Moreover, classifying the genre of the song proved to be a challenge for Billboard as well as the CMAs, who are apparently voting on whether the track should go up for certain awards.
