It’s been a big month for fans of hip-hop and the community at large. Tekashi 6ix9ine recently dropped a brand new song and accompanying music video on Friday. He also sparked media headlines all over the entertainment industry for his record-breaking IG Live session.

As it was previously reported, Tekashi 6ix9ine revealed his new track, “GOOBA,” and later went on Instagram to defend himself against allegations of “snitching.” 6ix9ine explained that there was no loyalty between himself and the other gang members.

He cited a few examples of their supposed egregious behavior, including kidnapping and extortion attempts, stealing, and even sleeping with his baby momma while he was on tour.

Bobby Shmurda, as well, is gearing up for his own new music and subsequent release from a penitentiary, Hot New Hip Hop reported. In addition to Tekashi 6ix9ine’s return to the hip-hop world, fans online began discussing the potential resurgence of Bobby Shmurda.

Just a few hours after Tekashi 6ix9ine started making waves again all over social media, Shmurda’s name also started trending on Twitter. On his IG Page, several videos from a pre-prison performance were revealed, stoking the curiosity and excitement of fans.

In an Instagram post you can see above, Bobby said the countdown was starting. “From left to right wit it, crowd participation is key,” Boddy wrote in all capital letters. Bobby is currently waiting on a parole hearing in August, although, he’s scheduled for release on the 11th of December, 2020.

With that in mind, reports have persistently claimed that he’ll be dropping brand new music before he even gets out of the big house. Earlier this year, for instance, Fivio Foreign claimed that Shmurda had a brand new mix-tape coming out.

It’s not clear where or when it will come out, but fans have been eagerly anticipating Shmurda’s new project while he waits to get out of prison.

As it was noted above, Tekashi 6ix9ine was also let out of prison earlier this year due to the coronavirus. His lawyers argued that he was at considerable risk on account of asthma.
