Boosie Badazz Suggests The Death Of King Von May Lead To A 'War'

It’s been a tough time for many in the hip-hop community, especially with the sheer number of deaths and shootings that have occurred over the last year and a half. In case you missed it, it was reported earlier this year that the rapper, King Von, was shot and killed outside of an Atlanta hookah lounge.

Mo3, a rapper from Dallas, Texas, was shot and killed in his home-city and Boosie Badazz was reportedly shot at while he was visiting Dallas to pay tribute to the slain artist. Additionally, it was reported that Benny The Butcher was shot during a robbery attempt in Houston, Texas.

Rappers such as Meek Mill have even offered record contracts to aspiring rappers in the city in exchange for a ceasefire. Boosie Badazz suggested in a new interview with VladTV that he thought the behavior was akin to promoting warfare.

According to Badazz, he and King Von had spoken about working on a new song together the day he was murdered. In fact, Boosie says Von called him on the same day and said he had been working on his verse for the track.

During a conversation with VladTV, Boosie said that on the night King was killed, the hookah lounge had been telling him to come out and visit. The rapper admitted he wanted to go out to Atlanta to hang out but he had other things to do.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Vlad said Quando Rondo is still talking about what happened and Boosie wasn’t surprised. He claimed that “in the streets, you gotta stand up and be like, f*ck that,” in order to get respect from others.

Boosie went on to describe the entire situation as “war-banging.” He says he didn’t like to see such a thing, because all it ever leads to is “blood and jail,” adding that he doesn’t like to “see that s**t.”

More importantly, the rapper argued, is that the people who suffer the most from the shooting deaths are the children of those who have died.
