Brad Pitt was delighted to finally pick up his first-ever performance Oscar for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood after having decades of success in the industry.

After a massive win at the Oscars, fans of Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband are asking, what is next for him? According to reports, Brad is moving à contre-courant and plans to take his time before jumping into his next project.

He has signed on as a producer on The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and a documentary about the late Chris Cornell, but that is it for now.

A source told Hollywood Life: “Brad is trying to take some time to relax before figuring out his next move. This Oscar meant a lot to him, and he’s in no rush to run to another project. He’s going to take some time just to enjoy this moment. He’s joked he wants and needs a vacation, and it’s definitely well deserved, so that’s honestly probably his next move.”

The person shared: “Knowing him, he’ll be making another movie in the very near future, but he also has a production company and other projects, so while he is taking a break, it’ll be short and not much.”

During this downtime, Brad will be busy with his kids — Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11.

The happy father mentioned them in his acceptance speech, and they loved it.

Another insider told the media outlet: “Brad’s kids aren’t usually interested in the awards or much to do with his industry, but an Oscar is a big deal, and they know he won, and they all messaged him to congratulate him.”

The friend shared: “They loved that he gave them a shout out, that was a sweet moment for everyone. The older they get, the more they appreciate what incredible talents their parents are. They know they are blessed and lucky to have Brad as their dad. But at the end of the day, they’re still kids, and he’s still just dad to them, not Brad Pitt, the Oscar winner, they definitely keep his feet on the ground.”

The person concluded by: “When Brad is with his kids, his mind is on them, not himself and not his career. He is solely focused on them and connecting with them where they’re at. I would be surprised if he actually had an Oscar party with them, it’s not really his style.”
