Brad Pitt Hopes To Go Public With His New Girlfriend -- He Wants Angelina Jolie To Set Him Free -- Is It Charlize Theron?

It is a new year for Brad Pitt, and he has big plans and by the looks of things, his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, will have to accept them.

A source close to Pitt spoke to In Touch and revealed that he is working to put the bitter divorce and custody battle behind him to not only date again — but he wants to step out publicly with his dates.

While rumors have been flying high claiming that Pitt and Oscar winner Charlize Theron are linked romantically — they have never been seen together.

All of that is about to change because Pitt is said to be tired of putting his love life on hold.

According to a family friend, this is what is going on with the filmmaker: “Brad is telling friends that he’s finally ready to put his custody battle behind him and start publicly dating again. He was so conscious of not putting a foot wrong while he was trying to get his kids back that finding a new woman was the last thing on his mind.”

The source claimed that Pitt is looking for the opposite of his soon-to-be ex-wife — he wants young, hot, and eager to have fun.

The pal said: “But now it’s all sorted; he’s telling friends he’s open to set-up options. Brad wants someone young, hot, and preferably famous enough to know how to deal with the inevitable heavy spotlight when he finally debuts a new relationship. He’s loving hanging out in LA’s rock scene right now so you can bet whomever his new girlfriend is, she’ll be well connected in those circles.”

Pitt and the mother of his children recently had a heated meeting in Los Angeles, and according to Hollywood Life, it stirred a few emotions.

The person told the website: “She wanted to stay together forever, and it’s hard for her to see him. Angie has not been able to move on and has been unable to fall in love since splitting with Brad. So seeing him always stirs emotions and it’s challenging for her.”

The friend added: “Brad agreed to their recent meeting because he was hoping to come to some compromise with Angelina. The divorce has been dragging on forever, and Brad is tired of arguing with Angie through lawyers about the many details of their split. The entire process has been long and tiring for Brad, he is exhausted and was hoping to tackle things directly with Angelina in person.”

Hopefully, for the sake of Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, Vivienne and Knox, both 10; things will smooth over.
