There have been rumors going around that Brad Pitt and his oldest son, Maddox, don’t have a good relationship at all! That being said, during a rare interview, the 18 year old responded to a couple of questions about the speculations. Here’s what he had to say!

As you may know, Maddox is now at college in South Korea and while his mom, Angelina Jolie, dropped him off, Brad was nowhere to be found.

Will the father end up visiting him later on?

‘I don’t know about that and what’s happening,’ Maddox replied when a reporter asked him what he thought.

But the paparazzo did not give up, questioning the teenager on those speculations that their father-son relationship has been ‘over’ for a while.

‘Whatever happens, happens,’ Maddox simply added.

It definitely sounds like he was uncomfortable talking about his dad and their relationship and tried his best to respond in ambiguous ways as to not reveal anything.

The rumors that they had a fallout started three years ago, just after Brad and Angelina’s divorce filing.

In fact, it was said that Brad and Maddox’s supposed altercation on a private plane was what ultimately pushed Jolie to end things with her husband at the time.

Ever since, there have been many reports claiming Pitt’s relationship with his oldest son is ‘strained.’

That means that the father doesn’t get to see him as much as the other five kids.

After all, since Maddox is of age, the custody agreement between his parents does not force him to spend any certain amount of time with his father.

He can make his own decisions as far as their meetings are concerned.
