According to a report from Page Six, Britney Spears’ father, Jamie, doesn’t mess around when it comes to his oldest daughter. In fact, Jamie Spears once fired and banned an Extra producer, Carlos De Santis, from ever working with her again after he posted a selfie of himself and Britney on social media.

This past Thursday, Carlos took to his social media to say that Britney Spears “dad had me banned from ever working with her again because I didn’t ask HIM for permission to post a photo she herself consented to?” Mario Lopez then said, “hahaha, I remember!”

As it was previously reported, Page Six claimed that a plethora of Britney Spears-fans have been worried about the singer’s health ever since it was first revealed she had been checked into a mental health facility following her father’s hospitalization.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the aisle, Britney’s mother, Lynne, has been fueling the fire of sensationalism by liking fans’ social media posts, including ones insinuating that Jamie Spears is an unjust tyrannical figure who holds his daughter in institutions against her will.

One comment, in particular, stated, “I hope that you, (Lynne), are doing everything in your power to stop Jamie from holding Britney back in an unjust conservatorship!” Interestingly, this comes after Jamie was revealed to be struggling with a serious colon condition.

Moreover, it’s unclear how a man who’s suffering from a serious and nearly fatal health condition could be pulling the reins on his much younger daughter. Regardless, Britney announced at the beginning of this year that she had to cancel her residency in Las Vegas due to her father’s complications.

As fans of the singer-songwriter know, Britney’s parents, Lynne and Jamie, first split 17 years ago in 2002, and Jamie has been her sole conservator ever since her public breakdown back in 2007 and 2008.

DeSantis, on the other hand, the man who was banned from working with Britney, has been a “freelance producer” for the last few years. He once worked with Entertainment Tonight as well.
