Amid Britney Spears‘ conservatorship war with her father, Jamie Spears, the man’s lawyer claims he’s actually ‘saved’ her life! This comes after many reports that the pop star wants her dad to be removed as her conservator and even that she is scared of him!

Following the release of the FX documentary titled Framing Britney Spears, Jamie is apparently trying to change his public image by releasing videos of the father and daughter actually hanging out in 2020, just to prove that their relationship is not strained.

His attorney, Vivian L. Thoreen, was on the latest episode of Good Morning America, and that is when she opened up about her client’s supposed relationship with Britney.

‘I understand that every story needs a villain. People have it so wrong here. This is a story about a loving, dedicated and fiercely loyal father who rescued his daughter from a life threatening situation … Jamie saved Britney’s life,’ the attorney insisted.

She also went on to share a family clip from Jamie, in which Britney can be seen running around with her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears‘ kids at a park, while Jamie Spears and some other members of their family also hung out together there.

According to Vivian, the family video was captured during the year that just passed, when the family quarantined together in Louisiana.

She shared that ‘Throughout 2020, Britney and her dad had many conversations. And, in fact, pretty early on in the pandemic, they spent two weeks with other family members hunkered down in Louisiana. Britney and Jamie went on long drives together. They worked in the family garden and every single night, Jamie would cook southern comfort food and the family ate together. At that time, Britney never once expressed those words to her dad. She has never asked him to step aside.’
