Today it was revealed that Brit Bti’s music would be featured in the brand-new show titled ‘Once Upon a One More Time’. Theater owner James L. Nederlander shared the exciting news today. He is going to be producing the new stage production, which will not be based on Spears life, simply her hit tunes.

“Throughout her career, Britney has captivated fans across the globe with her singular brand of energy and resilience. For three years, we have been working closely with her to develop a concept that perfectly encapsulates her unique spirit and are so thrilled to finally bring this joyous and electrifying show to the stage,” shared Nederlander in a press release on Tuesday.

The premise surrounds princess characters such as Cinderella, Snow White, and other fairytale icons. They all come together for a book club, when a rogue fairy godmother drops The Feminine Mystique into their laps. It sparks a royal revelation with the princesses asking the question if there is more to life than true love and singing birds.

Along with incorporating some of Spears sought after songs, the musical will also feature an original book by Jon Hartmere. Fans can expect a truly energized and magical experience when watching ‘Once Upon a One More Time.’ One person who is beyond excited for the new production is the pop star herself.

“I’m so excited to have a musical with my songs, especially one that takes place in such a magical world filled with characters that I grew up on, who I love and adore. This is a dream come true for me!” Spears exclaimed in a statement she released earlier today.

The show will have a pre-premiere in Chicago at the James M. Nederlander Theatre. Preview performance begins on October 29th with the musical debut on November 13th. It will be a quick stint though, with the show ending on December 1st. Tickets will go on sale August 4th
