Brothers Involved In Jussie Smollett "Hate Crime" Are Now Finding It Difficult To Get Work

TMZ.com claims that the brothers involved in the Jussie Smollet attack are now feeling the consequences of their supposed actions because they’re finding it difficult to get work. Their acting careers have suffered dramatically since the whole Jussie Smollett case occurred.

Insiders who know the Osundairo brothers, Ola and Abel, said to reporters from TMZ that neither of them has landed any acting jobs in the last few weeks, and they think it has something to do with the Jussie Smollett case. In fact, they’ve reached out to approximately 10 of the big agencies in Chicago and still haven’t found someone interested in signing them.

This is the worst time for the two men because it’s the pilot season in the TV business, so, if they don’t find something soon they won’t find anything at all. Moreover, they can’t even land any auditions because they don’t have agents.

Amid the Jussie Smollett media spectacle, Abel was dropped by the Gray Talent Group due to his involvement, and he had just signed with them approximately one month before. The reason he gave was “generic,” claims TMZ, but the real reason is obvious.

The agency supposedly told the actor that it was challenging for them to part ways with him because he was talented. It wasn’t reflective of his character or his abilities, but rather, external circumstances. Unfortunately, their personal training services haven’t been doing well either.

With that said, Abel’s boxing career has improved. In fact, he won the entire amateur competition in the Chicago Golden Gloves Tournament last Friday.

As most know, the two men allegedly were the ones to spill the beans to the Chicago Police department regarding the truth of Jussie Smollett’s “hate crime.” Jussie supposedly paid both of them $3,500 to attack him one evening after he left the set of Empire.

Thus far, Jussie Smollett’s case has been one of the biggest scandals of the year, even causing considerable issues within the police union and the District Attorney’s office. Kim Foxx, the prosecutor in Chicago, dropped all charges against Smollet, causing a public outcry in the process.
