The Kardashian-Jenner clan sparked a bit of controversy recently when Caitlyn Jenner’s famous children didn’t show up after the Olympic gold medalist was eliminated on the UK reality show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! However, Caitlyn says she never expected for them to be there, and she apologized to her kids after fans assumed that they would be and called them out for snubbing her.
“My family are very well-known. I never asked any of them to come down or expected them to — they all have businesses and families,” the 70-year-old told The Daily Mail. “I was disappointed they were criticized. After the show was over, I texted or called all the kids to apologize.”
It’s a tradition on I’m A Celebrity for the famous contestants to reunite with their family and friends on camera after getting voted off and leaving the jungle. But, when Caitlyn was voted off during the December 6th episode, she was all alone.
Later, Caitlyn revealed on her Instagram Stories that her business partner and friend Sophia Hutchins was waiting for her at a hotel, even though she wasn’t on camera when Caitlyn left the jungle.
Exactly what Brandon said!!!! NO ONE from I’m A Celeb even reached out and asked for letters, appearances or anything from any Kardashians or Jenners. https://t.co/dlzoodwDiz

She told her followers that she had just left the jungle, and was finally getting her hair and makeup done, which was a service she desperately needed because it hadn’t been done in weeks. Jenner added that when she came out of the jungle she had a lot of friends waiting on her, and Hutchins surprised her at the hotel.
When Caitlyn made it back to her home in Malibu, she discovered that her daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner had decorated it with silver letter balloons that read, “Welcome home.” Caitlyn shared a pic on Instagram and wrote a thank you message to her girls.
Brandon Jenner told one of his fans that he thinks Caitlyn’s solo exit from the jungle might have been something fabricated by I’m A Celebrity producers to create a storyline. Brandon said that it’s possible they wanted to get more empathy for Caitlyn, and that’s how TV works.
Kim Kardashian agreed with Brandon, and tweeted that no one from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! reached out to the Kardashian-Jenner family for appearances or letters for Caitlyn Jenner to be featured on the episode where the campmates get letters from home.
