Cameron Diaz Talks Possible Return To The Big Screen - Will She Ever Act Again?

It’s been no less than six years since Cameron Diaz pressed pause on her acting career to start a quiet life away from the spotlight with her husband, Benji Madden. However, now, the actress revealed that she’s not completely ruling out the possibility of making a big return to the big screen, much to the excitement of fans all over the world.

While a virtual guest on her friend, Naomi Campbell’s YouTube show, No Filter With Naomi, Cameron Diaz discussed her career in the movie industry, which came to an end with the release of Annie back in 2014.

Now, Cameron Diaz is a new mom and she is very happy with her current life but that is not to say that she’s swore off acting forever.

‘I feel really resolved. I never say never to anything, first off, but I feel really resolved. I haven’t made a movie since like…2013, 2014. It’s been a long time, and girl, I’m okay with that! There’s no part of me that’s like…I gotta get back in front of the camera, I gotta go act! I don’t feel that way. That’s not to say I won’t some day, but I’m really resolved where I’m at right now,’ the star shared.

On the other hand, Naomi actually has no doubts that fans will one day be able to see Cameron in movies again.

The model predicted that ‘When you do your first movie now that you’re a mom — because you’re going to do it — it’s going to be a different Cami. I look forward to seeing it. Because we’re going to see it. But, like you said, there’s no rush.’

Cameron went on to joke that since she’s been away from Hollywood for so long, people will not remember her if and when she finally returns.

‘I’ll come back and people we’ll be like…there’s a new older actress on the scene! But we’ll see what happens. I never say never to anything,’ she stressed once again.
