Cardi B has become a lot more political over the last few months, endorsing people like Bernie Sanders and others. Sometimes, she even puts Donald Trump on blast for the president’s various blunders and lack of what’s been described as a “presidential” style of communication.
Either way, Cardi B continued with this trend this week when she took to her Twitter account to say she supported Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for the 2024 presidency. However, AOC hasn’t actually met the requirements yet because she’s only 30-years-old.
It’s required by the constitution that American citizens must be at least 35-years-old before they can run for the top spot. According to Hot New Hip Hop, Cardi B didn’t have AOC’s back until the congresswoman claimed she wasn’t able to get dental insurance until she was elected to congress, all the while with “Bodak Yellow” playing in the background.
Cardi, 27, took to her Twitter account to write, “she better run for president when she turns 35.”

Reportedly, even Donald Trump sees her potential as well. Hot New Hip Hop claims the president recently explained that Chuck Schumer and AOC were going to run against each other, and she was definitely going to beat him.
“He has no chance,” the president explained to reporters from Fox Business. Donald claims Chuck and AOC will fight for a position in the Senate and AOC will probably win.
As it was previously reported, AOC revealed she was running for a congressional seat in November after beating Michelle Caruso-Cabrera in June. Regarding Cardi B’s political disposition, the rapper, as it was noted above, has previously come out in support of Bernie Sanders.
In fact, the rapper wasn’t pleased when she found out that Bernie wasn’t going to run for the presidency. She said it was a shame because many of the people who talked a big game said they were going to vote for him, but didn’t end up doing so.
Cardi B has been making waves in the headlines for other reasons lately as well, including the release of her brand new song featuring Megan Thee Stallion with a cameo from Kylie Jenner, “WAP.”
