Cardi B is not about to let anyone ruin her image as a great mother without putting up a fight. After reports that two vloggers claimed the rapper used drugs while pregnant with baby Kulture, the star has allegedly filed a defamation lawsuit against them for ‘spreading lies’ and trying to ‘tarnish’ her name!
Court documents obtained by E! News list Latasha Kebe and Starmarie Ebony Jones as the two vloggers in question and it alleged that they made ‘defamatory statements’ about the young mother of one.
Furthermore, Cardi took to social media to address the lawsuit report in a now-deleted post.
She stated: ‘I didn’t really wanted to entertain this but ya know me and gossipinthecity never got along for years, and we always go back and forth, but what wrong is wrong and I’m glad she put me up on this. This person I’m suing is trying to tarnish my name and spread lies in other people blogs like gossipinthecity. spread all types of disgusting rumors about me and it has gotten worst.’
Cardi went on to also write: ‘Stop trying to involve people in your disgusting goal on trying to dirty my name everything you accused me of doing and having will be proven with documents and test in court. By the way my father drives me and I NEVER NEVER had a assistant.’
It sounds like she means serious business and she is not going to let this go! They’ve messed with the wrong woman!
The lawsuit claims that Latasha has ‘put out at least twenty-three videos’ on unWinewithTashaK’ in the past fourteen months that had to do with the female emcee.
But the one that went over the line as far as Cardi is concerned is one from April of last year, in which Keke argued that because Cardi used drugs while expecting her firstborn, the ‘then-unborn child may have intellectual disabilities.’
